This Week's and Next Week's Journal Exercise

In your journal:

What in your own life are you neglecting that is affecting your ability to be there for others? What are you pushing aside because you don't have time that affects your mental, physical and/or even financial ability to be there for others? How can you find balance between those things you need to do for yourself and what you want and need to do for others?

In your journal:

Think of a criticism you've received recently. Where did it come from? What was it based on? What was way off? What had a spark of truth to it? Who else has this same flaw? How can this criticism help you improve?

Last Week's and This Week's Journal Exercise

In your journal:

If you could accomplish just one thing in the next year or learn to do just one thing well, what would it be? Do you currently give this area of your life priority? How much priority do you currently give this area of your life? Write down this area and section off a set time to work on it. Place your note somewhere where it will remind you how much of a priority it is for you.

In your journal:

Make a list of how you spend your week or days. Ask yourself what on your list, twenty years from now, will seem like a waste of time and what will seem like good use of time?
