Last Week's and This Week's Journal Exercise

In your journal:

What do you resist spending money on? Why? What do you resist spending money on even if it the need is apparent? List the reasons you give yourself for not spending money on this even when needed? Where do you tend to overspend or what do you enjoy spending money on? Why? What do you spend money on even if you know you do not need it? List the reasons you give yourself for spending money on this item even when it is not needed?

In your journal:

What time can you set aside to get something that's important to you done? What time do you have where you would not be bothered by distractions or how can you make sure there are no distractions? How can you make this time something that is not easily pushed aside with the first outside demand? Come up with something that will make you stick to it? For example, setting a regular time with a partner or creating a deadline that you isn't easily broken unless it's important. How can you prepare ahead of time so that you can make the most of the time you have carved out for yourself and be sure it's productive?

Last Week's and This Week's Journal Exercise

In your journal:

Picture it finished.  Pick a goal you've been working on.  Write down what you think it will be like when it's finished.  Try to be as detailed as you can - though some of these details may change as you continue to work on your project.  Try to find some time each day, maybe when you lay down at night or in the morning, to picture what your project will be like when it is finished.
