This Week's Journal Exercise

In your journal:

What lesson did the world seem to be trying to teach you today?  If you can't come up with something that fits today think over the last month or year.  What lesson does life seem to be trying to teach you lately?  What challenge or realization do you seem to be running into over and over again?  Perhaps it's something you've even been trying to avoid?

Last Week's and This Week's Journal Exercise

In your journal:

Write down a goal that you have wanted to accomplish for a while.  Then write down all the things that keep getting in your way.  What do you concentrate your time and energy on instead?  When you do have free time what stops you from working towards this goal?  What do you tell yourself that keeps you from making the effort?

In your journal:

What type of person do you want to be?  Get a clear picture in your head of the person you want to be.  What core things could you do each day to become this person?  How can you make room for these things each day?  How important is it to you to make time so that you can become the person you want to be?  If you do these things each day where will you be in 5 years?  What if you don't set aside time?  Where will you be 5 years from now?

This Week's Journal Exercise

In your journal:

What affects how you feel about yourself?  What tends to make you feel good or bad about yourself?  Think of times where you felt good about yourself?  Why?  What happened that made you feel good?  Where or at what times have you felt bad about yourself?  Why did you feel bad?  What happened?  What does your self esteem seem dependent on?  What should your self esteem depend on?
