This and Next Week's Journal Exercises

In your journal:

What characteristics do people complement you on and admire you for?  What have you won awards or recognition for?  Where do you feel these character traits come from?  What life experiences and people inspired these traits in you?

In your journal:

Look for things that you have in common with each person you meet this week and make a list of the things you found you had in common.  Star the items on your list that you found in common with the people you felt it would be unlikely to find anything.

This Week's Journal Exercise

In your journal:

Think of the warning signs that came before some of the problems you've dealt with in the past.  How much easier might it have been to solve these problems at these early stages?  What warning signs are you seeing now of possible future problems?  What can you do now to stop a problem from developing?

This Week's Journal Exercise

In your journal:

Write down the things that people shared with you this week.  It might be anything from a piece of gum to their feelings?  What might have been hard for them to share with you?  What things are you most able to share?  Why?  What things do you have trouble sharing, and why do you feel this is hard for you?
