This Week's Journal Exercise

In your journal:

What resentment are you harboring?  Why are you feeling resentful?  Could you have misinterpreted the situation?  Even if you don't yet believe it what are some of the possible ways you may be misinterpreting the situation?  How can you wipe the slate clean and start fresh or try again in hopes of a different result?

This Week's Journal Exercise

In your journal:

This week test your actions.  Before you do something, say to yourself the following. I am doing this because…?  What is your goal?  What is your most common answer?  Did any of your reasons surprise you?

This Week's Journal Exercise

Now at the site: December Journaling Prompt Calendar

In your journal:

What, if anything, do you tend to do to get others to like you?  Do you try to impress them?  Do you do the person a favor?  Think of the last three people you wanted to like you?  What did you do to try and get them to think favorably of you?  Next make a list of what you tend to like about others.  Think of three people who made a favorable impression on you or who have many qualities that you like and enjoy being around.  Include this in your list.  Finally look at your two lists (how you try to get others to like you and what you like about others) and consider how well they match up.
