This and Next Week's Journal Exercise

In your journal:
Write down a loved one that you felt annoyed with this week.  Next, knowing that this person cares for you and isn't simply trying to annoy you, write down the positive motivation behind what they were doing.  For example, if they kept asking you to participate in something, write down how nice it was that they wanted to include you even if it's not something you wanted to do.  If they criticized you for something, write own how they love you and so wanted to see you improve your life even if you don't consider their suggestion an improvement. If they nagged you about something, write down how it showed their concern for you.

In your journal:
Make a list of the things that would make your life easier.  Next to each, write down something that would be second best.  Something that would help though maybe not as much as your first choice.  Pick one (first or second choice) that you can realistically use this week?

Last Week's and This Week's Journal Exercise

In your journal:
Make a list of the people who make up your support system.  Who cheers you up when things go wrong?  Who inspires and motivates you to tackle tough things and get things done?  Whose advice do you trust?  What professionals do you regularly go to for help?  Who do you know you can always count on for help if things are too much for you to handle?  Who is genuinely happy for you when things are going well and genuinely unhappy when things do not go well for you?  What can you do to strengthen, acknowledge, thank, reciprocate, and use your support system this week?

In your journal:
Make a list of those little things in life that you enjoy but often don't take time to notice and really enjoy.
