This Week's Journal Exercise

In your journal:

Write down something that you want even though deep down you know you're are not ready for it yet.  Though you want this thing in your life, you may not be financially, mentally or physically ready for it.  What problems will it cause if this enters your life before you're ready?  How can you take your focus off what you want and focus instead on the steps you need to become ready?

This Week's Journal Exercise

This Week's Journal Exercise

In your journal:

Write down a few of the things that you never did as a kid because you were worried about what others thought.  Something that you wanted to do and probably would have enjoyed but perhaps it wasn't "cool" or popular with your friends.  What advice would you give your own kid if they faced the same problem?  Now think of the present.  Is there anything that you would like to do but don't because of what others think?  Are you worried about what close friends and family think or people who don't know you very well?

This Week's Journal Exercise

In your journal:

Write down something that you've seen many times on TV and when you were younger thought was true, but now know reality is quite different.  When did you realize that things in real life worked differently than this?  What experience taught you this?
