Write down where you want to be 10 years from now - 20 years from now.  Where do you hope to be next year this time?  Why?  What do you need to do to reach these goals?

Catch yourself focusing on what you think others should do?  When you catch yourself getting annoyed or upset because you want someone to do something or be a certain way, accept that you can't make anyone the way you want them.  Instead ask yourself why you want them to act this way?  What is it that you need from them that they are not able to supply?  How can you fill this need yourself?
