Last Week's and This Week's Journal Exercise

Fixed at the site: Calendar Prompts

In your journal:

Think of someone you are having trouble forgiving because they hurt you in some way.  Flip things around.  Consider some of the times in the past that you hurt someone intentionally or unintentionally and then regretted your actions though maybe you couldn't or didn't say you were sorry.  Think of how good it felt to be forgiven for a mistake or a lapse in judgment.  If this person does not appear to regret the hurt they caused you and are likely to hurt you again, think of times in the past when you were stuck in a wrong way of thinking.  How can you acknowledge this person's current limitations and not take his or her actions personally while still guarding yourself from future hurt.

In your journal:

What are the little moments you enjoy in each day?  What do you look forward to?  What do you wish you could enjoy more of?  How can you do this?  What gets in the way of your enjoying these small moments?  Make a list of some of the ways you can easily make your days more enjoyable.
