Weekly Journal Exercises

In your journal:

Write down something that is troubling you.  Now try changing your perspective and consider what this problem will look like a year from now?  5 years?  10 or 20 years?  Do you have the tools to deal with this problem?  Consider if this problem had popped up at a time when you didn't have the resources or tools to deal with it.  Consider someone you know who is dealing with an even bigger problem.  How does this problem look when compared to this person's problem?  Finally picture how you will feel after this problem is solved.

In your journal:
If nothing was pulling at you, no responsibilities, no needs of others, what would you do?

In your journal:

List your favorite people to be around.  Include the people you enjoy spending time with the most.  What makes spending time with these people so enjoyable?
