This and Next Week's Journal Exercise
In your journal:
Write down a bad habit you'd like to change. Next, list some possible positive habits that could replace it. For example, instead of a cigarette, or saying angry words - take a walk. Finally, write down how you can practice some of these new positive habits each day this week.

In your journal:
Make a list of some of you close friends, family members, and coworkers. Then, next to each, write down something that you would like to ask of each one. What do you need from each that you could ask for? In what ways could you phrase your request so that the other person would feel more willing or less defensive?
