This Week's Journal Exercise

In your journal:

Be aware this week of the type of person you're trying to project to others.  What type of person are you trying to convince others that you really are?  Write in your journal at the end of the day the people you encountered and what type of person you tried to project to each.  How did you act to get this person to perceive you in a certain way?  How did the way you wanted to be perceived change with each person?  Why did you want the people you encountered to view you this way?  What did you feel would impress him or her?  Is this really who you are?  Is this someone you want to be?  If not, what purpose was there in presenting yourself this way?  If this is not really who you are, do you think the person was fooled?  When others present themselves to you as something they are not are you often fooled?  If you presented yourself to others as you truly are based on your best traits, who would this be?
