This Week's Journal Exercise

In your journal:
Write down the name of someone you're holding a grudge against or have had a fight with and no longer are friends.  Write down the reasons you have for holding a grudge.  Make sure you have this list complete before continuing to the next list.  Next create a list with the same number of reasons for forgiving and forgetting.  Include in the list all the great things this person has done in the past that you might be overlooking because you are angry.  Finally, write down three possible ways you might attempt to make peace with this person. © www.AboutCreativeJournals.com

This Week's Journal Exercise

In your journal:
Make a list of your time wasters.  In what areas of your life is time most often wasted?  How much time is wasted on a daily basis with these activities?  How much time is wasted weekly?  Yearly?  Over your lifetime?  Add the time up for each one and write it beside the item in your list.  What are some things you would prefer to do with this time?  What are some things that you would like to do but haven't had the time?  How can you minimize or eliminate some of your major time wasters and even replace them with the things you want get done?  For example, listen to a book on tape during traffic or replace an hour of TV with a different activity.
