This Week's Journal Exercise

In your journal:
Think about some of your close relationships including siblings, children, friends and husband or wife.  What do you these people want for you?  What have they shown through actions or words that they want to see happen for you?  Why do they want these things for you?  Circle the names of those that want what's best for you even if their view of what's best differs from yours.  What does their wants for you show is important to them?  Finally, jot down what you want for each of these people?   What are your hopes for each of the people you listed?  Does this coincide with what they might want for themselves?  What does your choices show about what's important to you?© www.AboutCreativeJournals.com

This Week's Journal Exercise

In your journal:
Jot down some of the ways you act differently around different people.  Write down in your journal any times you feel you might be trying to be someone you're not just to please someone else.  Why do you feel the need to act this way around this person or these people?  How would you act around them if you simply acted like you?  What do you feel would happen if you were simply yourself?

This Week's Journal Exercise

In your journal:
Think of something you would like to accomplish or do on a regular basis.  What tools will you need?  What kind of area would you work best in?  Make a list of what you must do and get in order to set up an area in which you can achieve your goal.  Then set up the area you want to use.  © www.AboutCreativeJournals.com
